In an effort to increase its presence in the Telugu market, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL) will shortly create a Telugu cinema channel, which is set to debut on September 4. Our sources claim that the new Telugu cinema channel is called “Zee Cinemalu.” With the debut of GEC channel Zee Telugu, the Essel Group subsidiary’s footprint in the Telugu market was already established, and the addition of a movie channel will only increase that presence. The channel is currently finalising contracts with distribution platforms.

The channel will be more biassed toward male viewers and will primarily target the region’s youth who are over the age of 18. And for one of these projects, they chose actor Vidyullekha Raman to represent the channel.

Zee Cinemalu, which advertises with the slogan “Superhit,” is said to offer seven premieres each week, as well as simulcasts of major events and world TV premieres. According to reports, Anuradha Gudur, who also runs Zee Telegu, will be in charge of the station. According to the reports, Close-up, Panasonic, Fogg Deodorant, Fortune Sunflower Oil, and Amazon are just a few of the prominent businesses that Zee Cinemalu has already worked with for the debut.

The M&E behemoth is present in additional southern markets through GEC channels Zee Kannada and Zee Tamil in addition to Zee Telugu. The combination of GEC-film channel will be seen for the first time in Telugu in the South.
