The most watched English series in a week is now Wednesday, a recently launched supernatural comedic horror series available on Netflix. Wednesday has eclipsed Stranger Things season 4.

Over 341.2 million hours of television were spent watching Wednesday, a show based on the character of Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family. The main character of the show must solve a murder mystery at her school. The most watched season prior to this was Stranger Things season 4, which had 335.01 million hours of viewing in its first week after its May release.
Tim Burton acted as executive producer and directed four of the show’s eight episodes. The lead actress is Jenna Ortega, while other members of the cast include Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, and Jamie McShane.
