The trailer of Kiernan Shipka’s Wildflower was released on Thursday. Directed by Matt Smukler, Wildflower is written by Jana Savage. Kiernan Shipka will be playing the role of Bea, the daughter of two neurodivergent parents, who grows up caring for them while they care for her.

The trailer shows Bea heading towards her adulthood and finding it difficult to choose between staying with her parents and seeking a life and love of her own.

Wildflower also stars Samantha Hyde, Dash Mihok, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Charlie Plummer, Alexandra Daddario, Kannon Omachi, Brad Garrett, Reid Scott, and Erika Alexander alongside Jean Smart and Jacki Weaver.

Wildflower is based on Matt Smukler’s family life, taking inspiration from his niece and her parents. Wildflower premieres in theatres on March 17 before appearing on digital and on-demand on March 21.
