Shah Rukh Khan has explained why he is not anxious about his upcoming movie. After four years, he will appear in Pathaan for the first time.
With his upcoming Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make a comeback to the big screen. He was last seen in Zero, a movie that failed at the box office in 2018.The entertainer, at an occasion in Sharjah, discussed how he has confidence in his forthcoming deliveries and further made sense of why his assertion isn’t presumptuous.
Shah Rukh recently traveled to Sharjah to attend the Expo Centre’s 41st Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2022).At the event, he was also honored with the Global Icon of Cinema and Cultural Narrative award. He revealed whether he is nervous about his upcoming films in a video from the event that has surfaced online.
Shah Rukh replied to Faye D’Souza that his pre-release sentiments might come across as arrogant. He stated, “People think I am pompous if I answer it in the way that I do. I answer honestly.”I don’t think I should be worried. All of them (films) will be hugely successful.I’d like to explain how this statement doesn’t seem arrogant because that’s the belief I keep in my head while I sleep and wake up.At the age of 57, this is the belief that drives me to perform stunts, jump, and work 18 hours per day.Because I would not be able to do it if I did not have the belief that, at the end of the day, what I am doing is to create a great product that a lot of people will like.

“This is not an arrogant statement this is what I believe as I sit there. I am not nervous. I think they are wonderful films. it’s a child-like belief, that look ‘I have done my best, prepare my best. I am going to pass with flying colours’. it happened to lots of us, at least to me, when I was a young kid. I remember acing my mathematics exam. I did very well and in result, I got 3 out of 100. But, I thought I really did well. Sometimes that happens with movies also. I do make a Zero, sometimes what I put in comes to effort and for, and it becomes Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,” he reasoned.
