The forthcoming Telugu movie Waltair Veerayya, which stars actor Chiranjeevi in the main role, has received a U/A certificate from the censors, the producers revealed on social media.
The movie is scheduled to be released on January 13 in honour of Sankranthi. Waltair Veerayya, billed as an action comedy, also has Ravi Teja in a key part. The movie was produced by Mythri Movie Makers’ Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar and directed by Bobby Kolli. Ravi Teja will feature in the second half of the movie while Chiranjeevi will be seen in a classic funny character. The female protagonist is played by Shruti Haasan, while Devi Sri Prasad created the soundtrack.
Cinematographer Arthur A. Wilson and editor Niranjan Devaramane make up the technical team. The script was written by Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy, although Bobby wrote the story and dialogue.
