On Sunday, the live-stream comedy show’s official teaser and poster were presented by the streaming service.

The next comedy special from Hollywood star Chris Rock will premiere on the platform on March 4, according to streaming provider Netflix. The Netflix special, titled Selective Outrage, will be the first thing to stream live around the world. The Hollywood Reporter, a source for industry news, claims that it is Rock’s second special for the streaming service after Tamborine from last year. The official teaser and poster for the special were published by Netflix on Sunday.

The teaser begins with Rock sitting in a dressing room and gazing into the camera. It is set to Bun B’s “The Best Is Back.” Later, he hears a voice in the background say, “Chris, they’re ready for you.” The camera then follows the stern-faced Rock as he enters the dressing room and emerges onto the stage, where he is greeted by flashing lights and a yelling crowd.

Rock had a busy 2022 and is anticipated to talk up about his Oscars experience, in which he received a smack from Will Smith for making a joke about the Hollywood star’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith during the award ceremony. Rock hasn’t officially addressed the event, although he is said to have made references to it in other stand-up performances conducted around the US.
