According to Variety, Season 2 of “Hunters” will conclude at Amazon and air on January 13.
The conspiracy thriller series premiered on the streaming service in February 2020. In August of that same year, it was renewed for a second season, but there was no mention that the show would end with the new season.
The show “follows a diverse band of Nazi hunters living in 1977 New York City,” according to the official description.The Hunters, as they are known, have discovered that hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials are living in the United States and working together to establish a Fourth Reich there.
Al Pacino, Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker, and Lena Olin were among the first season’s cast members.What’s more, Udo Kier has joined the show as Adolf Hitler, while Jennifer Jason Leigh has been given a role as a Nazi tracker named Chava Apfelbaum

David Weil, who also serves as executive producer and showrunner, created the show.Under the moniker Monkeypaw Productions, Nikko Toscano, Win Rosenfeld, and Jordan Peele also serve as executive producers.The pilot was directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon, who also serves as an executive producer.Nelson McCormick and David Ellender of Sonar Entertainment serve as executive producers.Amazon Studios produces alongside Monkeypaw and Sonar.
This is the second well-known Amazon show to announce its cancellation after only two seasons.When the second season of “Carnival Row,” starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne, premieres in early 2023, it will also end.
