Salman Khan recently announced that he has wrapped up the shooting of Tiger 3 and the film will probably be released by Diwali this year.

In an interaction with the media on the sidelines of an awards event in Dubai, Salman said, “Last night, I was shooting for Tiger (Tiger 3) and I have completed Tiger 3. Now you will get to see Tiger on Diwali, inshallah. It was a very hectic shoot, it was good though.”

Last week, the actor took to Instagram to inform his fans that he was injured during the shoot of the film. He shared a photo of himself standing with his bare back facing the camera with an X-shaped, yellow-striped bandage on it. “When u think u r carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, he says duniya ko chhodo paanch kilo ka dumbbell utha ke dikhao .Tiger Zakhmi Hai . #Tiger3,” he captioned the post.

Tiger 3, directed by Maneesh Sharma, will reunite Salman with Katrina Kaif, who has been part of all the previous films in the franchise. Emraan Hashmi will play the antagonist in the film. It will also have a Shah Rukh Khan cameo.

The first film in the franchise, Ek Tha Tiger, was directed by Kabir Khan and came out in 2015. Ali Abbas Zafar took over the director’s chair for the second film, Tiger Zinda Hai, which was released in 2017.
