Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy, who are currently working together on Deadpool 3 are reportedly gearing up for a musical comedy titled Boy Band. Set at Paramount, Boy Band will be produced by both Ryan and Shawn with the latter occupying the director’s seat. Ryan has also written the script for the film along with Jesse Andrews, in addition to starring in the film.
The plot details of Boy Band, which had its genesis in Ryan Reynolds, are currently under wraps. From the title, it can be deduced that the film will revolve around the reunion of a boy band. The role Ryan will be playing in Boy Band is also not revealed yet.
Ryan will produce Boy Band under his Maximum Efforts banner, and Shawn will produce it under his 21 Laps Entertainment banner. Shawn and Ryan have previously worked together in Free Guy and The Adam Project. The production for Boy Band is expected to begin between this Fall and early next year.
Ryan Reynolds is well known for his performance as Deadpool, the Marvel superhero. He is currently working on the third film in the series, Deadpool 3, and also on IF directed by John Krasinski.
