Pushpa: The Rise, the most recent box office sensation from Allu Arjun, has already been announced as having a Russian release. The film’s producers have now disclosed that it has earned more than 10 million Rubles in Russia.

On December 8, the Sukumar-directed film Pushpa debuted in more than 770 Russian-language theatres nationwide.

Pushpa is a RAGE in Russia. 25 days and counting of the successful run in 774 theatres with a collection of over 10M Rubles, the production banner claimed in a tweet from the film’s creators, Mythri Movie Makers.

Ten million rubles are equivalent to almost 13 crore rupees.

The movie, in which Sunil, Rashmika Mandanna, Dhananjay, and Fahadh Faasil also acted, was about the eponymous character’s ascent from a low-paying labourer to the head of a red sandalwood smuggling ring.

The first instalment of the two-part series was released on December 17, 2021, and it went on to become one of the biggest money-spinners of the year earning over Rs 350 crore.
