Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty, will hit theatres on December 23. And the recently released teaser shocked the crowd by showing Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh dancing to a special song.
The producers revealed that the song Current Laga Re, which stars Ranveer, his wife, and actor Deepika, will be released on Thursday a few weeks before the film’s debut.
The movie, which is billed as a comedic entertainer, is set in Ooty against the backdrop of a circus. It is a formal version of the 1982 movie Angoor, which was based on The Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare.Ranveer is portrayed in the movie as a circus performer who appears to have an ailment that causes current to flow, according to the teaser. Cirkus stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Mukesh Tiwari among others, with Ranveer and Varun Sharma seeming to play dual characters.
