Actor Mohanlal released the trailer of the upcoming Malayalam film Janaki Jaane through his Facebook handle on Sunday. Written and Directed by Aniesh Upaasana, the film stars Navya Nair and Saiju Kurup in the lead roles. The film will hit the theatres on May 12.
The trailer opens by showing the hilarious moments between the newly wedded Janaki and Unni Mukundan, played by Navya Nair and Saiju Kurupp. The trailer also hints at some turbulence in the environment of the easygoing couple.

Janaki Jaane is bankrolled by sisters Shenuga, Shegna and Sherga under the banner of SCube Films. The film marks the second production of the banner after Parvathy Thiruvoth starrer Uyare.
Besides Navya Nair and Saiju Kurup, Janaki Jaane stars an ensemble cast, including Johny Antony, Sharafudeen, Kottayam Nazeer, Anarkali Marakkar, George Kora, Sminu Sijo, Pramod Veliyanadu, James Eliya, Jordi Poonjar, Shylaja Sreedharan, Vidhya Vijayakumar, Anjali Sathyanath, Sathi Premji, and Anwar Shereef.
The technical team of the film includes Syamprakash MS behind the camera, and Noufal Abdullah handles editing. Janaki Jaane’s music is composed by Kailas Menon.
