With “Sita Ramam,” actress Mrunal Thakur made her Telugu debut and received universal praise for her performance.However, the actress did not have an easy time on the film set.
She had to communicate in a foreign language and express herself.But the reward of playing Sita Mahalakshmi, who turns out to be princess Noor Jahan in the movie, a “beautifully written character” kept her going.
The actress elaborated on the same point by saying, “The most lucrative reason I joined Sita Ramam was to be a part of an intriguing story.I was thrilled to be a part of this film, despite any minor obstacles I had to overcome and learn from.In exchange for Hanu sir’s beautifully written character, learning a new language seemed like a small price to pay.”
The other award for her was to impart the screen to an entertainer like Dulquer Salman: “It was satisfying to work alongside Dulquer and be a part of such an incredible team, as well as to witness his flawless performance.The warm and tremendous reception I received for my Telugu debut confirmed to me that we were creating something truly special.”
“Sita Ramam” will be released in Hindi on an OTT platform on November 18, 2022, following its successful theatrical run.
