Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway, starring Rani Mukerji, will now be released on a different date. Producers Zee Studios shared the news on Instagram on Friday along with a shot from the film featuring the actor.

“Inspired by the actual story of a woman who shocked a whole nation with her fortitude and drive to win back her children,” they remarked upon sharing the still. The movie “Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway” by Rani Mukerji will debut in theatres on March 3.

The movie’s initial release date was set for May 20 of this year.

Ashima Chibber, renowned for directing Mere Dad Ki Maruti, is the film’s director (2013). Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway is based on actual events and depicts the tale of an Indian immigrant mother’s struggle to regain custody of her kids while facing up against the Norwegian foster care system and local court system.

In addition, Rani Mukerji is working on her memoir, which will be released on March 21, 2023, her birthday. The biography will be a very intimate and frank account of Rani’s experience.

Rani provided further information on it, stating, “In the 25 years that I have so devotedly spent in the Indian film business, I have never talked my heart out about my life and my path in cinema. The book explores my personal struggles and how they affected me as I navigated the business and my career since as women in film, we are frequently criticised. I haven’t had the opportunity to take a moment to reflect and think deeply about my life. This memoir was my method of remembering all I’ve gone through, starting in my early years. “

Harper Collins India will be the publisher of the book.

At the age of 16, Rani Mukerji made her acting debut in the 1996 Bengali film Biyer Phool. In the same year, she made a second appearance in the Hindi film Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat. Since then, she has also starred in Ghulam, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Badal, Bichhoo, Saathiya, Yuva, Hum Tum, Bunty Aur Babli, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, and Mardaani, among other movies.
