From January 20, 2023, the spy thriller Mission Majnu, starring Sidharth Malhotra, will be available for direct streaming on Netflix.
Mission Majnu, a movie directed by Shantanu Bagchi, is set in the 1970s and tells the story of India’s attempt to stop Pakistan’s nuclear development.
Along with Rashmika Mandanna, Kumud Mishra, Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi, Mir Sarwar, and Zakir Hussain, Sidharth plays a RAW agent in the movie. Although a theatrical release was initially anticipated, it will now be available on Netflix.
I’m extremely enthusiastic about Mission Majnu since it will be my first time portraying a spy, Sidharth stated when asked about the movie. It depicts India’s most exciting clandestine mission, which changed the country’s relations with its neighbour in the 1970s. With Netflix on board, I have no doubt that this amazing story will be embraced by audiences everywhere.
Ronnie Screwvala, the film’s producer, also discussed the movie and his work with Netflix.
