Kareena Kapoor will soon be seen in Hansal Mehta’s latest movie, which is being referred to as The Buckingham Murders. It has created a fair deal of buzz among fans as it features Bebo in a new avatar. In a recent interview, Kareena spilled the beans about playing a detective in the film. The actress said that her character is similar to the one played by Kate Winslet in Mare of Easttown.
KAREENA KAPOOR’S FILM TO HAVE SHADES OF MARE OF EASTTOWN
Kareena Kapoor, last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, plays a character similar to the one essayed by Kate Winslet in Mare of Easttown in her film with Hansal Mehta. Speaking about the same, the actress told Variety that this was a new experience for her.
“I love Mare of Easttown and when Hansal came to me, I said this is something that I’ve really been dying to do. So we’ve moulded a little bit on those lines. She plays a detective cop in that. It’s the first time that I’ve dabbled in that,” added Bebo.
ON THE WORK FRONT
Kareena is going through a busy phase on the work front. The star is working on a film based on the novel The Devotion of Suspect X. It also stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. The star also has The Crew, co-starring Kriti Sanon, and Tabu, in her kitty. She is set to shoot for the flick in March.
