Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson has said that Warner Bros, the production company behind the superhero movie, initially did not want Henry Cavill to reprise his role as Superman. Johnson is now enjoying the popularity of his most recent film, “Black Adam.”

Johnson “worked hard” for Cavill’s appearance as Superman in “Black Adam,” even though Warner Bros. wasn’t initially keen on bringing the actor back.

Johnson recently said on his Twitter account that he wants to make Black Adam “the most powerful, unstoppable force in the DC world,” according to a US-based entertainment news source.

The DC star clarified how to do this “The most potent, unstoppable force in the history of the universe must be reintroduced. And you you understand about whom I’m speaking? That is, of course, Superman. And Henry Cavill is that.”

He continued by saying that the studio had “inexplicably and inexcusably” decided against bringing Cavill back, but he was not going to accept no for an answer, so his crew set to work, as was previously reported.

“It has taken years of planning and strategic discussions to bring Henry Cavill back, and we weren’t going to accept no for an answer. There was no way—and still isn’t—to try to expand the DC Universe while the most potent force and greatest superhero of all time remain on the sidelines. It is not feasible, “Johnson threw in.

The actor who was formerly a professional wrestler said, “This is the reason we worked so hard to bring back Henry Cavill as Superman; there was no other Superman, by the way. Henry Cavill is the Superman of our age and, in my view, the best Superman. And I say it with the utmost regard for the other performers, particularly Christopher Reeve.”

In the meanwhile, following his appearance in DC’s “Black Adam” in October of this year, Cavil announced on social media that he will be playing Superman once again in a future Warner Bros.-DC film.
