It was recently disclosed by choreographer and director Farah Khan that one of the most well-known Hindi songs, Aankhon Mein Teri, was not originally intended to be a part of Om Shanti Om (2007).

IANS said that she remarked, “It’s one of my favourite songs,” “When the movie was over, Vishal made us listen to the song that had been previously filmed. I told him, “I wanted this song in the movie,” after hearing it, and our editor once more re-edited the song so nicely.” She also conveyed her thanks to Vishal and Shekhar, the song’s songwriters.

Farah Khan co-wrote Om Shanti Om with Mayur Puri and Mushtaq Shiekh, the dream romance movie starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Gauri Khan under the auspices of Red Chillies Entertainment produced the movie in 2007.
