Aabir Mukherjee is a talented musician known for wearing many costumes. At the moment, he serves as the Independent Music Director for reputable record labels including Universal, Venus, HMV, T-Series, Sagarika, and Tips.
Aabir started his career in the film industry by performing as a guitarist for renowned musicians Bappi Lahiri, Nadeem Shravan, and Rajesh Roshan after receiving formal instruction in performing Indian Classical Music, Western Music, Guitar, Harmonium, and Keyboard from renowned musicians. He graduated from Trinity College London with a degree in guitar. His area of specialisation is music advisory and leadership. He has extensive expertise writing music in a variety of Indian languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, and Bhojpuri.
Aabir’s love of music and formal training in playback singing, folk singing, and light classical music have aided in his ability to conceptualise and create music in a unique way. He released his own GHAZAL album, “Ehsaas,” which was well received by the public, which helped him gain confidence as a playback Ghazal vocalist. He has amassed a sizable fan following not only in India but also in the UK, Europe, Asia, and Africa thanks to his captivating stage presence and incredibly strong and soulful voice. His original works and interpretations of modern ghazals, Sufi music, Bollywood songs, folk songs, classical fusion, and Bengali songs among others are wildly popular.
