The biographical political drama Emergency, which takes place in the 1970s, is Kangana Ranaut’s latest film to direct. She calls it a “musical.”
The actor-director said that there are five songs in all, one of which is 10 minutes long, in the movie. She was surprised that people didn’t anticipate music in the film. Kangana portrays former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the movie Emergency. GV Prakash is the composer of the movie’s soundtrack. The dancer’s name is Kruti Mahesh (Padmaavat, Street Dancer 3D).
Kangana shared images from the set on her Instagram Stories, “We have a choreographer on site today, so the director can relax. By the way, Emergency has five songs; it’s a musical drama (performing arts emoji). Why do people not anticipate music in an emergency? Tetsuo Nagata, a Japanese filmmaker who worked on Emergency, is also featured in the flick. The last time we saw Kangana was in the action thriller Dhaakad (2022). She is also working on Tejas and Chandramukhi 2 (in Tamil), in addition to Emergency.
