Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has detailed the difficulty of bringing both Wade Wilson and Logan together in Deadpool 3. Speaking with The Wrap, Reynolds described the Deadpool sequel, which will feature the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, as a “tightrope walk” when it comes to tone.
According to Reynolds, Deadpool 3 is a balancing act, as they endeavor to do justice to both Deadpool and Wolverine while navigating their entrance into the MCU.
Plot details for Deadpool 3 remain a mystery at this stage, but it is expected that the sequel will find Wade and Logan embarking on a road trip together. A road trip that will see the pair at each other’s throats. And then at each other’s throats again after they’ve both regenerated.
