Donald Trump has come under fire from Duncan Jones after the former president played an old song by his father, the legendary musician David Bowie, during a political event.

Recently, the former president declared his third run for the White House, and Duncan Jones, an outspoken Trump opponent, has stated his displeasure with his dad’s music being played at Trump rallies.

The 51-year-old director of films asserted on Twitter: “Pretty sure he’s just doing that now to wind me up.” The director has previously attempted to stop Donald Trump from using his father’s records, including his hit single “Heroes.”

Duncan Jones said that he is essentially helpless to change the situation, though. I’ve been informed there isn’t much we can do about it, he added.

Elon Musk has polled the public on whether Donald Trump should return to Twitter.

The 51-year-old businessman recently paid $44 billion to acquire the microblogging service, and he has since suggested that the former American President may rejoin Twitter after being suspended in 2021.

Elon Musk penned the phrase “Reinstate previous President Trump (sic)” above the polling buttons.

The Tesla CEO then added a Latin proverb that means “the voice of the people is the voice of God” to his first tweet.

“Trump poll getting 1M votes/hour!” Elon Musk later wrote.

The decision to reinstate Jordan Peterson’s and Kathy Griffin’s Twitter accounts was just authorised by the CEO of Tesla.

The “Trump choice has not yet been taken,” he asserted at the time.

Following the attack on the Washington, D.C., Capitol Building in January 2021, Trump, 76, was removed from the platform.

The account was suspended due to “the possibility of future instigation of violence,” according to the microblogging service.
