Actress Kangana Ranaut will next be featured in a Tamil film after “Thalaivii.” This time, the actress will play the lead character of Chandramukhi in the P. Vasu-directed film “Chandramukhi 2.” The precursor of the movie was released in 2005 and stars Rajanikanth and Jyothika Saravanan.
The Hindi adaptation of “Chandramukhi,” “Bhool Bhulaiya,” starring Akshay Kumar, was a remake of the Malayalam film “Manichitrathazhu.”
Kangana Ranaut will be portrayed in “Chandramukhi 2” as a well-known dancer in the king’s court who is famous for both her dancing prowess and beautiful beauty. Kangana Ranaut will be paired with renowned Tamil actor Raghava Lawrence. Neeta Lulla, a national award-winning costume designer, will collaborate on the movie, and she has piqued interest with a character sketch.
Neeta Lulla stated the following in response to inquiries: “To develop a character that is the exact definition of grace in every adaa, her appearance, her hair, her stance and walk express and portray the essence of dance. That seems to be Chandramukhi. The experience of seeing the movie will be both lovely and difficult. Being able to completely lose herself in the role she is playing is Kangana Ranaut’s greatest acting strength, therefore I’m thrilled to be working with her once more on this project. Can’t wait to watch how “Chandramukhi 2” comes together.
Kangana Ranaut will begin filming the first schedule of the picture in the first week of December, according to the source. Following the completion of the second schedule of “Chandramukhi 2,” the actress will take a brief break from her second directorial, “Emergency.”
According to sources, one of the biggest production companies, Lyca Films, which just released PS 1, is the producer of Chandramukhi 2.
In the meantime, Kangana Ranaut also has the upcoming films “Noti Binodini” and “Tejas,” in which she plays an Indian Air Force pilot.
