Bruce Willis’ upcoming sci-fi action film Assassin is set to release in theatres, On-Demand, and on digital on March 31. The announcement was made by Saban Films. The film also stars Coming 2 America fame actor Nomzamo Mbatha.

Set in the near future, Assassin will show Bruce leading a secret military group that invents a microchip technology, allowing them to perform deadly and extremely covert missions by letting their agents enter the body of another person. Nomzamo Mbatha joins the team when her husband, an agent played by Mustafa Shakir, is killed during one of these missions. She joins the team in his place so that she can avenge the death of her husband.

Jesse Atlas will make his feature directorial debut with Assassin. He has also served as the co-writer on the film along with Aaron Wolfe. Apart from Bruce, Nomzamo and Mustafa, Assassin will also star Andy Allo and Dominic Purcell in important roles. Assassin will be one of Bruce’s final films after he retired in 2022.
