Kantara, a pan-Indian smash from Rishab Shetty, will be available on Netflix starting on December 9. The movie is currently streaming in India on Amazon Prime Video in the languages of Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu.

On October 14, Kantara’s Hindi dub opened in theatres. According to reports, the movie made close to Rs. 79 crore in Hindi box office receipts. Around Rs. 400 crore has been collected in total across all languages.

Rishab Shetty, a director, author, and leading man, said, “I am overjoyed that Kantara (Hindi) will be available on Netflix! It is wonderful to see that our tale has reached audiences in more than 190 different nations. Shiva’s struggle for his nature and village are highlighted in the movie, which makes Netflix the ideal platform for telling a tale as varied as Kantara.”

Hombale Films’ producer Vijay Kiragandur said, ” “I’m happy to announce that Kantara, a divine Hindi narrative from Hombale Films, is now available on Netflix. Our goal is to use our films to show the world how proud we are of our culture. Netflix is the ideal partner for our objective, with a user base that spans more than 190 nations.”

The movie will also be available in English, and starting in January 2023, you may watch the English-dubbed version on Netflix.
