There is a rumour that, in the next week, a new full-length trailer for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming movie Oppenheimer would be shown prior to the showing of Avatar: The Way of Water.
The movie’s creators have already posted a brief teaser video on Universal Pictures’ Youtube channel. The creative teaser plays continuously and includes a countdown to the movie’s July 21, 2023, release date.
The rumour is supported by the fact that Nolan often releases full-length trailers for his movies around December. The current release date for Avatar: The Way of Water is December 16.
The character Oppenheimer is based on renowned physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, who oversaw the Manhattan Project, which was responsible for creating the atomic bomb.
The film’s stellar cast also features Casey Affleck, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Gary Oldman, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Benny Safdie, Dane DeHaan, Jack Quaid, James D’Arcy, Kenneth Branagh, and Cillian Murphy in the title character.
