With a film that is rumored to be titled Vampire, actor Ayushmann Khurrana has hinted at joining filmmaker Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe.Vampire, starring Ayushmann and Yashoda star Samantha Ruth Prabhu, has been rumored to be the next installment in the Stree (2018) franchise.
When questioned about the state of Vampire, Ayushmann stated that the producers would soon make an official announcement.Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan are attempting to create a horror universe.It is completely novel for the Indian audience and very intriguing.The 38-year-old actor told PTI in an interview, “Let’s see when it happens, and we will have an official announcement soon.”
The winner of the National Award previously worked with Vijan and Kaushik on the blockbuster Bala in 2019.Vampire is said to be inspired by Rajasthani folklore.Samantha will play a princess, and Ayushmann will play a vampire.

After Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree, Roohi, which also stars Rao, Janhvi Kapoor, and Varun Sharma, and the upcoming Bhediya, which stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, this will be the fourth film in the horror-comedy universe supported by Maddock Films.
Dream Girl 2 will also feature Ayushmann, who is getting ready to release his movie An Action Hero.The comedy-drama that came out in 2019 was about a man who makes a living doing voice over work for women.The actor stated that the sequel to the franchise produced by Ekta Kapoor will be an enjoyable film with a social message at its core.
“It is a brand-new story, but there will be an element of the first one.The film is more successful financially than the first.It is mounted well.
“The entertainment is what I want to focus on more than the messaging or social commentary.The level of entertainment must be high.That is what I have learned about COVID-19 over the past two years, he stated.
