He posted a video on YouTube thanking the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Culture for facilitating a hassle-free shooting schedule for all parties. The King Khan of Bollywood, who was in Saudi Arabia on Thursday for the Red Sea International Film Festival, has photos from the event that have been making the rounds online. In addition to him, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and AR Rahman were also in attendance.

The Red Sea International Film Festival honours Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan received an honorary prize from the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia not long after he registered for the event.

Mohammed Al Turki, the CEO of the Red Sea International Film Festival, stated in accepting the actor’s award, “We are happy to be honouring Shah Rukh Khan, who is a tremendous talent and a global superstar. He has enthralled audiences ever since his first performances and is one of the most well-known actors in the world right now.

“I am really thrilled to receive this award from the Red Sea International Film Festival,” Khan said after accepting the medal. It’s amazing to be among my regional and Saudi fans, who have always been ardent defenders of my works. Being a part of this dynamic film community and appreciating the local talent are things I’m looking forward to.
