Anil Kapoor revealed to George Clooney during HTLS 2022 how he has been gradually building a relationship with his grandson Vayu. Sonam Kapoor’s two-month-old baby is his daughter’s child.

Anil Kapoor was recently questioned by George Clooney about how he likes being a grandfather. Anil conducted a video chat interview with George Clooney on Saturday at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit. Anil revealed how Vayu, son of his daughter Sonam Kapoor, reacted on being in the midst of nature for the first time as he took him for a stroll. George Clooney responded to Anil’s question on his experience raising his five-year-old twins Ella and Alexandar by inquiring about Anil’s enjoyment of becoming a grandfather. “I couldn’t process it when I became a father,” Anil retorted. Processing that took some time for me.

He stated, “I am still in a process,” when asked about becoming a grandfather. I started gradually communicating with my grandson while I was in Austria. Vayu, which means wind, is his name. I took him for a stroll in the lovely weather. While attempting to eat, he was staring up at the sun and the sky. That was his first encounter with the cosmos, the earth, and the natural world. It was lovely to observe his response. He and I are connecting much more quickly for me than they were with my kids.

In May 2018, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja exchanged vows during a multi-day wedding celebration. Together with Anand, she relocated to London, working remotely between the UK and India. On August 20 of this year, they welcomed son Vayu, and posted a statement on social media to share the news. “We welcomed our darling baby son on August 20,2022, with humbled heads and hearts,” it said.
