After losing the defamation trial earlier this year, Amber Heard is sure that the insurance provider is responsible for covering the damages she owes to Johnny Depp. After the high-profile lawsuit that dragged on for weeks in the Virginia court, things for the Aquaman actress didn’t turn out well for the uninitiated.

Amber lost on one count, while the Pirates of the Caribbean star triumphed on three. She has been mandated to pay JD damages of a staggering $10.35 million. However, since Depp gives her $2 million, the total becomes $8.35 million.

However, it is also well known that Amber Heard lacks the necessary funds to cover the amount. She depended on her insurance provider to pay Johnny Depp’s expenses. The company, however, reportedly refused to pay the money back in July, claiming that Amber had engaged in willful misconduct in making her allegations against Depp. Instead, it filed a lawsuit against the actress in an effort to avoid having to make any payments to her.

There has been a recent development in this case, and Amber Heard is ensuring that the business gives Johnny Depp the money. According to TMZ, the actress from The Rum Diary has countersued the insurance provider, arguing that her insurer should pay for her losses. Heard has argued the opposite in court documents, claiming that she made a “unconditional bargain” that safeguards her under any circumstances.

The actress claims that the business violated their contract by refusing to uphold the arrangement, and she has asked a judge to order them to pay. How this turns out will have to wait because Amber will ultimately be responsible for compensating Depp.

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are also suffocating in other legal dramas in the meantime. The verdict was appealed by the Aquaman actress, and the actor then filed his own appeal.
