Channing Dungey, the CEO of Warner Bros. TV, suggested that a Harry Potter-based television series would debut shortly.

In a statement to Eonline.com, Dungey claimed: “There is a tonne of ambition for that, and we are having numerous conversations about it. There is a lot of interest and emotion in it, but I wish I could tell you that something is about to happen soon.”

Dungey added that she is optimistic about what lies ahead. We’re just trying to determine what the best course of action is, she continued.

Warner Bros. TV began dabbling in Harry Potter-related programmes last year. Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses, a four-part quiz hosted by Helen Mirren and starring Harry Potter favourites such Matthew Lewis, Tom Felton, and Luke Youngblood, premiered on TBS in November 2021.

On New Year’s Day 2022, HBO Max debuted Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, which featured a cast reunion of many Harry Potter performers, including stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint.

In terms of Warner Bros. movies, the Fantastic Beasts franchise has continued, with the most recent entry being Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore in 2022.
