With his next movie “Shehzada,” Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan will make his production debut, the movie’s producers said on Monday.
The film is the official Hindi translation of the 2020 Telugu action drama “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,” starring Allu Arjun and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind, and Aman Gill.
Aaryan, who also stars in the family-friendly action comedy “Shehzada,” was welcomed by the film’s creators to the team as a producer.
It’s been a lot of fun filming this movie with Kartik as an actor, but now that Kartik is now one of the producers, it’s even more thrilling.
Kartik, like us, “believes in broad-reaching films that appeal to the kids, families, and masses, and “Shehzada” is designed for all of them,” they said in a media statement. “Therefore, it made logical sense for him to chose this picture for his debut as producer.”
Rohit Dhawan, known for films such as “Desi Boyz” and “Dishoom”, has directed the film.
An Allu Arvind production, “Shehzada” is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Allu Entertainment. Also starring Kriti Sanon, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar, the film is set to be released February 10.
