The first visual trailer for the season of the science fiction show Foundation for Apple TV+ has been posted online. Earlier, a first-look poster for the show featured Harry Seldon and Brother Day, played by Jared Harris and Lee Pace, respectively.
Legendary science fiction author Isacc Asimov’s epic novel series of the same name served as the inspiration for the television series. The series, which is set many thousand years in the future, centres on a man who sets out to prevent the demise of human society after unintentionally foreseeing it in a mathematical programme that predicts the future.
Author David S. Goyer, who is best known for penning the screenplays for movies like Man of Steel and Batman Begins, created the series just for AppleTV+. The series’ cast also features Terrence Mann, Lou Lobell, Laura Birn, Leah Harvey, Cassian Bilton, and Jared Harris in addition to Lee Pace and Jared Harris. Although Foundation is scheduled to return in the first half of this year, a release date for the second season has not yet been announced by the producers.
