As a part of the festivals’ official selection, the coming-of-age movie “Kacchey Limbu” will screen at the World Film Festival of Bangkok and the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK). The movie, which was directed for the first time by Shubham Yogi, has Radhika Madan, Rajat Barmecha, and Ayush Mehra in prominent parts.

The 27th International Film Festival of Kerala will be held in Thiruvananthapuram from December 9 to December 16 while the World Film Festival of Bangkok will run from December 2 to December 11.

The global premiere of Kacchey Limbu, which stars Radhika Madan, took place at the 47th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September.

Actress Radhika Madan expressed her joy by saying, “It feels amazing that our picture ‘Kacchey Limbu’ continues to find love in different corners of the world after its international premiere at TIFF. I’m overjoyed that it was chosen for the IFFK and Bangkok World Film Festivals. I’m eager for the public to witness this movie since it’s really dear to my heart.

Aditi, a little girl racing to realise the expectations that everyone has for her, is the subject of the heartwarming sibling drama “Kacchey Limbu.” Aditi ultimately makes the decision to take matters into her own hands in an effort to show everyone that confusion is not always a negative thing and that with time, the right choice will come to a person.

The film’s director, Shubham Yogi, echoed Radhika Madan’s comments, saying, “‘Kacchey Limbu’ is a film on discovering your voice and has stemmed from a very common growing up experience. I feel fortunate and appreciative that the movie continues to find a platform at prominent festivals like Bangkok and IFFK after its excellent showcase at TIFF. I couldn’t have wished for a better start as a new filmmaker.
