On the occasion of the movie’s first anniversary, director Ram Madhvani, renowned for producing films like “Neerja,” the television show “Aarya,” and the Kartik Aaryan-starring “Dhamaka,” described the movie as a turning point in his career.

The director is renowned for his unorthodox technique to creating movies, which he refers to as “a 360-degree approach.” Ram used up to 10 cameras to catch the performers’ moods and emotions during the record-breaking 11-day filming period.

Ram Madhvani reflected on the movie and said, “Dhamaka was a special turning point in my development as a filmmaker. Due to the limitations, we developed a completely new method of shooting during the pandemic based on my 360-degree approach, occasionally using as many as 10 cameras.

He continued by thanking the cast and crew of the movie, saying: “As ‘Dhamaka’ completes one year, I would like to thank the millions of viewers who have watched and admired the film around the globe and our entire team led by Co-Producer Amita Madhvani. I would also like to thank all of our actors led by Kartik Aaryan, Amruta Subhash, Mrunal Thakur, Soham Majumdar, Vikas Kumar, and Vishw Additionally, Ronnie Screwvala, the RSVP team, and the Netflix team.

In the Netflix original film “Dhamaka,” Kartik Aaryan played a cynical news presenter who conducted a live on-air interview with a suspected terrorist. The subjects of hustling culture and the cost of ambition are touched upon throughout the movie.

Ram is now working on the third season of his International Emmy-nominated series “Aarya 3” on the job front. Additionally, he is creating a web series on the Jallianwala Bagh atrocity.
