Megastar Chiranjeevi will get the Indian Film Personality of the Year award, Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting Anurag Thakur announced on Sunday.
At the opening of the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI), the prestigious award was presented.
Chiranjeevi has appeared in more than 150 films throughout the course of a nearly four-decade acting career, with a focus mostly on Telugu cinema.
