On November 15, 2022, during NBT Utsav 2022, actor Sidharth Malhotra received the “Best Actor” award for his contributions to Indian cinema. When Sidharth was honoured by Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, he assumed centre stage, dressed tastefully in a black suit.
Mr. Fadnavis mentioned how much he admired Sidharth’s performance and how he serves as a role model for upcoming actors in Indian film when presenting the award. The Deputy Chief Minister concurred with Sidharth that his favourite films are Raatan Lambiyan and Kaala Chashma.
Sidharth Malhotra expressed his appreciation by sending him a photo.
